Welcome to the Paddle Boarding Maui blog where we give you more info on what we do.
Aloha my name is Kai, I was born here on island. I left when I was young and spent a lot of time sailing the world with my parents across the Pacific Ocean.
Fiji, New Zealand Indonesia and Australia were some of the places we enjoyed.
This blog is a collection of paddle boarding tools advice and adventures we enjoy over the paddle boarding season here on Maui.
During this time of year we also have whales and their calfs visiting from northern parts of the earth. The calm waters and winds during winter on the southern shores makes for great paddle boarding tours and paddle board lessons.
The whales come here to give birth and nurse the calfs to good a size before they adventure home.
The other reason is to reproduce and (mate) before they leave to create new whales for next season.
Whales help spread nutrients across the sea floor all the way from Alaska. They are a important part of nature and still recovering from whaling a few centuries ago.
We look forward to paddle boarding with you on Maui. Our Tours are fun and light hearted. We are conservationist and care about the reef, Earth and environment.
We also supply reef safe sunscreen for our guest and we love educating guest on the most sustainable ways to live on island.
